About Me
 |
|
Hi, my name is Marilyn Fernihough and I have always loved dogs and animals, but I was never allowed to have any as a child
so I spent all of my spare time walking other people's dogs in my neighbourhood
in Sunderland. I left home and got a job with horses and as soon as I was able to, I
got a dog of my own and have never been without one ever since!

I had great fun and success doing obedience with a little Cavalier King Charles
called Hiedi who sadly died two years ago.
I also tried my hand at agility
with my Husband's GSD (Dempsey), but as she got fitter and I got older she started leaving me behind.
I think that I might manage to keep up in the show ring with the wind behind me!
How I Got Back Into The Border Collie Show World
My niece Ayley Ferniough got a super puppy called Shamus and started showing him with great success.
I went around the shows with Ayley, and her mum Marsha (My Sister–in–law) to keep them both company.
Shamus is doing really well around the show circuit and his family are all very proud of him.
You can find Shamus and his owner Ayley, in the Border Collie Club of GB 2002 yearbook, Page 107.
